Mandibular advancement device (MAD) or mandibular repositioning device (MRD) is a two-piece oral appliance or oral device that is worn over teeth during sleep to keep an obstructed airway open during sleep. We customize FDA cleared medical devices to treat snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). An oral appliance can also be used to treat patients intolerant to CPAP or BIPAP or where such treatment has failed.
Our partner Sleep Center (Sleep Medicine Institute of Texas) custom manufacturers oral appliances to specifically fit each patient. The appliance does not consume electricity and is easy to carry in a small case.
