Sleep Telemedicine New Consultation service is provided by a board-certified sleep physician and is only applicable for Texas residents at this time. Established patients may select a 20 min follow-up Telemedicine service with a provider (MD/NP) that is well qualified in practice of Sleep Medicine.
20 min New Patient Telemedicine service is primarily for minor sleep related issues such as snoring. Typically, the 20 min service would be used for diagnosis of Sleep Apnea, going over sleep testing protocols, determining a line of action and selecting an appropriate sleep test.
40-minute New Patient Telemedicine service would be for moderate complexity of sleep disorders and may involve diagnosing Sleep Apnea and other sleep disorders that may occur independent of Sleep Apnea. Hormone deficiency may also be discussed.
20 minutes established patient follow-up. This would be typically done for fine-tuning treatment of sleep disorders, hormone replacement therapy, discussing results of previously performed tests or management of sleep problems in patients previously established in the practice.
